Panamá
We support Panama in the implementation of its 2012–2017 National Drug Strategy.
The technical assistance is channelled through the strengthening of the Panama Drug Observatory. The Observatory’s staff have also participated in various training activities and seminars for exchange and good practices in Latin America and the European Union.

Strengthening of the National Drug Observatory
Control de precursores químicos
- Adoption of the 2025 National Drug Research Agenda, led by the Panamanian Drug Observatory (OPD) and the National Commission for the Study and Prevention of Drug-Related Offences (CONAPRED).
- Support to the OPD in establishing a Scientific Committee on Drugs (2024) to provide systematic advice to the observatory.
- Elaboración de manuales base para la gestión y la disposición final de precursores químicos.
- Reformulación reglamentaria del modelo de gestión y control de precursores químicos orientado a una mejora de la articulación institucional
Lucha contra el narcotráfico
- Diseño de una política pública de reutilización social y cultural de los bienes de extinción de dominio
