We collaborate with El Salvador in the implementation of its National Anti-Drug Strategy.
The technical support is oriented towards the demand reduction, focusing on the training of public servants who work with children and adolescents; and towards supply reduction, addressing the control of chemical precursors.
How do we support the country?
Drug demand reduction
Control of chemical precursors
Support to the National Council for Early Childhood, Children and Adolescents (CONAPINA) and the National Anti-Drug Commission in improving the care model for children and adolescents in state-run residential facilities.
To this end, experience exchanges have been promoted, a technical care guide has been developed, and more than 100 psychosocial care officials have been trained in mental health, care and prevention of problematic substance use.
Support to the Health Regulation Superintendency in developing and validating 1 comprehensive manual for the management and final disposal of chemical precursors.
Training of 43 frontline officials from different public institutions.
