We support Venezuela in the implementation of its 2019–2025 National Anti-Drug Plan.
Regarding the national actions, we support the country’s National Drug Observatory to strengthen research networks and incorporate the gender approach into drug-related studies.

Support to the National Anti-Drug Superintendency (SUNAD) in approving the national network of drug researchers led by the Venezuelan Drug Observatory (OVD).
Establishment of a Scientific Committee on Drugs to advise the Observatory.
Review, with a gender approach, of the methodological design of a study on patients admitted to hospital emergency services due to problematic drug use.
